Our "Leisure" batteries - perfect for engine starting and service load - are all of the AGM (absorbed glass mat) construction. This means that they can be installed upright, on a side or end without affecting their performance, a bonus when considering the limited space available on board. As well as convenient, these batteries are far safer than their wet/flooded counterparts. During everyday use, conventional lead acid batteries will emit hydrogen, this odourless gas can build up in enclosed spaces resulting in a severe risk of fire & explosion. Our Red Flash batteries reabsorb the gases and are therefore a much safer option. 

Please note that all batteries weighing over 25kgs will be delivered on a pallet so please ensure that you have the facility to either receive a pallet or have sufficient help to lift the battery.

Service Load Deep Cycle Batteries Our own label Red Flash Deep Cycle batteries have been designed with the serious user in mind. Our batteries offer the the benefits of AGM battery technology, allowing the battery to be installed upright or on its side or end, minimal, or even, no leakage of the sulphuric acid electrolyte should the case become damaged/cracked and a longer service life than comparative gel and wet batteries. If looked after, our batteries will provide a lower cost of ownership over gel & wet alternatives.
